Clinical Staff

Heather L. Bowling, LISW-CP is a Masters-level social worker licensed to provide psychotherapy inside the state of South Carolina. She was intensively trained to provide DBT by Behavioral Tech in 2019 and has focused her practice on working with adolescents and young adults (ages 12 – 24). She received training in the use of exposure to treat OCD and PTSD by the University of Pennsylvania Center for the Study and Treatment of Anxiety in 2024. She is a Facilitator in Training for MBCT through the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto, Canada, as well as a Certified Technical Trainer. In a prior life, she played at Computer Science, taught introductory computer science and applications courses at the community college level, and has taught and coached swimming since 1982. Heather enjoys paddleboarding, powerlifting, Elden Ring, Dungeons and Dragons Online, attending concerts of all types, attending youth sports, and talking about anime and video games with her kids.

Instructional Designer

Morgan DuBose is a master’s level Industrial-Organizational Psychology practitioner, trained with a focus on adult learning and training. She assisted in the design of a year-long DBT training program for a local community mental health center DBT Team intended to supplement the Behavioral Tech intensive training.  She has also reviewed and updated courses to more closely align to best practices.

Morgan has been teaching or training in some form or another since 2011, when she began teaching swim lessons. She currently teaches general employee education courses for the state of South Carolina, including procedure manual writing, presentation skills, and emotional intelligence.

Morgan enjoys swimming, k-dramas, Dungeons & Dragons Online, attending concerts, cross-stitching, crochet, and collecting all manner of spooky decor.
